What do you get when you mix a refreshing ice tea with a cocktail? Summer in a glass! These drinks will definitely help you beat that heat this season.

Four Red Fruits Tea Cocktail With Sorbet 

Serves: 2
cocktails and ice teas
Sorbet Ingredients
– 150ml cranberry juice
– 30ml sugar
– 15ml Twinings Four Red Fruits tea, brewed and cooled
Method
Mix the cranberry juice, tea and cranberry juice. Place in to a container and freeze.
Cocktail Ingredients
– 150ml Twinings Four Red Fruits tea, brewed and cooled
– 300ml soda water
– 150ml cranberry juice
– 45ml to 90ml berry liqueur (optional) or
– 45ml to 90ml Gin (optional)
– Fresh berries to serve
Method
• Mix the tea, soda water, cranberry juice and liqueur or gin. Pour into glasses and top with the sorbet
• Serve with fresh berries
Did you know? The sugar in the sorbet makes the ice crystals smaller, making a smoother sorbet.

Pure Rooibos Tea Cocktail With “Naartjie” And Honey  

Serves: 2
ice teas and cocktails
Ingredients
– 300ml Twinings Pure Rooibos tea, brewed and cooled
– 300ml lemonade
– 30ml honey
– 20ml naartjie rind
– 45ml to 90ml citrus liqueur (optional) or
– 45ml to 90ml rum (optional
– Ice to serve
– Thyme to serve
Method
Fill glasses with ice.
Mix the tea, lemonade, honey, rind and liqueur or rum if using.
Bruise the thyme and add it to the glass.

Indian Chai Tea Cocktail 

Serves: 2
ice teas and cocktails
Ingredients
– 300ml Twinings Indian Voyage chai tea, brewed and cooled
– 300ml ginger ale
– 45ml – 90ml ginger liqueur (optional) or
– 45ml to 90ml sake (optional)
– Fresh lavender
– Fresh mint
– Fresh ginger
– Ice to serve
Method
• Fill the glasses with ice.
• Mix the tea, ginger ale and liqueur or sake if using.
• Garnish with fresh lavender, mint, and ginger.
• For an extra spicy version, add an aniseed liqueur.

Peach And Cherry Blossom Green Tea Cocktail

Ingredients
– 300ml Twinings Peach and Cherry Blossom Green tea, brewed and cooled
– 300ml lemonade
– 45ml – 90ml peach liqueur (optional) or
– 45 – 90ml vodka (optional)
– Fresh mint
– Fresh jasmine or blossoms
– Fresh peach or nectarine
– Ice to serve
Method
• Fill the glasses with ice.
• Mix the tea, lemonade, and liqueur or vodka if using
• Garnish with the fresh mint, blossoms and peach
Mixologist’s Tip: The season for jasmine and blossoms is very brief, Violas will also work beautifully.

Pomegranate, Raspberry And Strawberry Green Tea Cocktail 

Serves: 2

Ingredients
– 300ml Twinings Pomegranate, Raspberry and Strawberry Green Tea
– 300ml tonic water
– 45ml – 90ml Pomegranate liqueur (optional) or
– 45ml to 90ml gin (optional)
– Fresh berries and pomegranate to serve
– Ice to serve
Method
• Fill the glasses with ice.
• Mix the tea, tonic water and liqueur or gin if using
• Serve with fresh berries and pomegranate.

English Breakfast Tea Cocktail

Serves: 2
ice teas and cocktails
Ingredients
– 300ml Twinings English Breakfast Tea, brewed and cooled
– 300ml lemonade
– 45ml to 90ml clear coconut liqueur (optional) or
– 45ml to 90ml vodka (optional)
– Fresh coconut to serve
– Fresh blue berries
– Fresh thyme
– Ice to serve
Method
• Fill the glasses with ice
• Mix the team lemonade and liqueur or vodka if using.
• Serve with fresh coconut, blueberries and thyme
Mixologist’s Tip: Bruise the herbs before adding the drink so the flavour is infused into the drink.
