It’s a 3800m sea swim, 180km ride and 42km run. If the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, it’s a suffer fest! You have 17 hours to complete the course.

It’s held at the Clanwilliam Dam and the sprint race is definitely just a warm-up for the after-party. You don’t even have to do the whole race – enter as a team and do one discipline each. A dress-up theme adds to the fun in the circus-style “disco tent”!

A weekend away where everything is geared towards family time. Apart from a challenging senior race, there are kids’ races, nature hikes, stargazing, campfires and live entertainment.
