On 6 and 7 April, Beauty Revolution Festival took over the Sandton Convention Centre to host the first-ever boldest and hottest beauty festival in Africa. There were activation line-ups that included discussions by powerhouse panelists and intimate make-up artist masterclasses. And then there was shopping…
From skincare to make-up (and everything in between), this two-day festival gave women the chance to shop some of the world’s biggest brands in beauty, lifestyle and personal care. Beauty editors, make-up artists, beauty influencers and celebs couldn’t get enough. Here’s some of what had women standing in queues and what you’ll want to get your hands on…

Who doesn’t want uncomplicated, quality make-up that also doesn’t burn a hole your purse? This local beauty brand, started by Rabia Ghoor (a teenpreneur), ticks all the beauty boxes: great colour payout, lovely packaging and… it’s affordable.
