Meet Shantal Dietrich
A qualified fitness trainer specialising in women’s wellness and entrepreneur, Shantal or as she’s known Slim Shanty, is all about empowering women through health and fitness. “I grew up being teased about how skinny I was for most of my life because I struggled to gain weight. This left me feeling insecure, unworthy and unhappy. I was active growing up but really decided to take control of my health and fitness while studying my Personal trainer course in 2015,” she explains. Wanting to share her journey, she now hosts women’s wellness events where she does workouts with her booty bands, discuss nutrition, speak about mental health and a range of other activities
Booty Building Workout
Want to build a perky butt? Well, Shantal has got you covered. Follow along for a thigh toning, glute firming workout that also helps to strengthen your core.
It’s a fusion between burpees and crab walks using a mini loop resistance band which helps to tone those legs and shape the glutes too.
Shantel says that she loves incorporating this exercise as part of a HIIT workout- doing as many reps as she possibly can within a minute, resting for 30 seconds and repeating this for 4 rounds as a finisher to her workout.
