Sip on this ‘detoxifying’ green smoothie and flush those toxins right on out!
Time to do your body a favour by adding this detoxifying smoothie to your breakfast routine. Coconut water is not only delicious, its full of potassium and is a hydration hero after a long weekend (or a late night out). Try drinking one or two glasses before you go to sleep, and wake up to a smoothie with coconut water as a base. This recipe is also packed with nutrient-rich leafy greens and can be tailored according to what you have available in your kitchen.

Coconut Detox Green Smoothie
Ingredients
– 1-2 Cups leafy greens (kale or spinach)
– 1 Rib celery
– 12cm Length of cucumber
– 1-2 tbsp Flaxseed oil
– 1 Scoop protein powder
– 1 Cup coconut water
– 1 Cup chopped pawpaw and pineapple (or any fruit of your choice)
Method
Blend all the ingredients and serve immediately.
Per serving: 1 588KJ, 18g fat (2 sat), 45g carbs, 390mg sodium, 10g fibre, 16g protein
