We love it when a treat gets a healthy makeover. The best part? This amazingly delicious brittle is so easy to make! It’s great to have as a snack when you’re craving something sweet – because, let’s be honest, sometimes an apple just doesn’t quite hit the spot, right?

Plus: Sesame seeds are rich in magnesium, a nutrient which helps convert sugar into energy. The fibre and healthy fat helps to stabilise blood-sugar levels for sustained energy throughout the day.

This brittle makes for a great crunchy element to add to salads. It’s also a lovely gift. Make a couple of batches, crack the brittle up into shards and wrap in beautiful cellophane. Or just keep it for yourself.
