Sometimes you want a long, slow sack sesh – and other times, you just want to take the express lane to O-town.
We asked Emily Morse, a doctor of human sexuality and host of the popular sex podcast Sex with Emily, for some tips on how to speed things up while still keeping it sexy. Follow these four hot tips:
1. Pre-Heat Your Oven
Foreplay for your next orgasm should start right after your last orgasm, says Morse. Send each other texts reliving last weekend’s steamy hook-up to jumpstart your sense of anticipation and excitement for the next time you’re together, she says. Knowing how much your guy wants you – and what he plans to do to you – will get you that much more aroused.

2. Don’t Forgo Foreplay
For some guys, foreplay is just a prelude – a fun teaser they have to get through before the main event. Not so for women, says Morse. Kissing, touching, caressing, and oral and manual stimulation will help you climax more quickly, she says. If you have the time, Morse recommends at least 20 minutes of foreplay before you move on to sex.
But if you want to speed things up, ask him to talk dirty. “For many women, words are aphrodisiacs – especially when those words are full of affirmations that fill her need to feel sexy,” she says.

3. Shower Your Clit with Attention
“Most women don’t regularly orgasm from intercourse alone,” says Morse. Along with the old in-and-out, you probably require some extra clitoral stimulation in order to climax. Tell him to use his fingers to gently stimulate your clitoris, and don’t be afraid to touch yourself as well, suggests Morse. Positions like the clitoral alignment technique (aka “The Cat”) or any configuration where you’re on top can also help ensure the angle of his thrusts is providing plenty of stimulation to your most sensitive areas, adds Morse.
4. Grab a Gadget
Don’t abandon your love of tablets, smartphones and all things tech when you enter the bedroom. Vibrating penis rings and wand-like devices can help stimulate your erogenous zones with minimal effort – speeding you towards orgasm. “Vibrators are fun and easy to use, whether during foreplay or the main course,” says Morse.
